Access Mail

Ascertaining the most suitable solution is an intuitive process. And this intuitive process must stem from learning assimilated through handling a wide range of projects for a scalable span of time.

Configuring Mozilla for E-Mail

  1. Start Mozilla
  2. From the "Window" menu select "Mail & Newsgroups"
  3. Click the "Create a new account" link
  4. Select "Email account" and click the "Next >" button
  5. Enter your name and your email address; click the "Next >" button
  6. In the "Incoming mail server" box enter your mail server; click the "Next >" button
  7. Enter your username ("jersmith" in the example "jersmith@Bluewaters Solutionsasp.com"); click the "Next >" button
  8. Give the account a meaningful name, like "Bluewaters Solutions" and click the "Next >" button
  9. Click the "Finish" button

Not done yet! There's one more set of steps:
  1. From the "Edit" menu, select "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings"
  2. Click on "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" in the list on the left
  3. In the server name box, enter your outgoing mail server name
  4. Uncheck the "Use name and password" check box (unless required by your ISP)
  5. Click OK
